Non-existent Invitation

A family member is invited to a wedding, forwards you their invite via email and keeps following up to check if you’re going to the wedding as well.

The more you think about it, the more you realize that you never actually received an invite yourself. The forwarded invite has your family member’s name on it, not yours.

So you contact the bride/groom to ask them when the wedding is and to let them know that you never received an invite and that they should tell you if you missed something.

Unauthorized Debit Order

I look at my bank statements almost every single day, whether it be via my phone or internet banking on the computer. This morning I found a very suspicious debit order on my bank statement.

My Love, My Choice

We’re going big! It feels like the year just started, yet it is almost the end of April already, that’s how quickly time flies by.

I don’t care where life takes me this year and the coming years, I just want to be happy, enjoy every moment without regret and be thankful/grateful for what I have. I want to feel and experience every single day and know that I have lived it, even if I just work and follow the same routine many of the days.

I may be tired and I may be irritated but I will still smile, practise patience, offer my respect to those around me and give all my love to those close to me. I will not look back and regret that I have held back, it seems bitter.

I truly believe that God has a plan for each of us but yet we are given choices along the way. We might make the wrong decisions but we can learn from those mistakes and still follow the path to our destiny.

Let’s do this, no regrets! Just love, the glorification of our God and thankfulness for the blessings in our lives.

Redactor: Add a Code Button

Redactor is a minimalistic, lightweight WYSIWYG editor with great features and fantastic plugins.

We use osTicket for our help desk and it has Redactor version 9.2.4 integrated which is not the latest but it works fantastically.

Due to the nature of our business, we often need to name functions, files or even give quick code to customers in our help desk while offering support and it is essential to be able to highlight these with <code> tags for formatting purposes.

Redactor doesn’t have a code button plugin available which I could find so I quickly wrote one today for version 9.2.X. It’s just a little bit of Javascript using internal methods and objects of Redactor only. Below is also code for the latest version 10 of Redactor.

WordPress: Dashboard Columns Option

WordPress used to have a “Number of Columns” setting on the dashboard under “Screen Layout” which I believe was removed in WordPress 3.8.

I’m not exactly sure why but I assume it is for WordPress to rather control and ensure the correct layout for you based on your screen resolution/browser size. Test it out: If you have a small screen like a tablet, you have one column and if you have a larger screen like a laptop, you will see two columns but on a much larger screen you would automatically see three columns.
